Here’s Today’s Department of Defense Contract Awards

 

AIR FORCE

Canadian Commercial Corp., Ontario, Canada (FA8252-12-D-0005) is being awarded a $71,259,135 firm fixed price, cost-reimbursable, no-fee contract to provide KC-135 and C-130 landing gear repair/overhaul items.  The location of the performance is Heroux-Devtek Inc., Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.  Work is to be completed by Oct. 12, 2016.  The contracting activity is Air Force Global Logistics Supply Chain, Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Pembroke Construction Co., Inc., Hampton, Va. (FA4800-12-D-0008) is being awarded a $35,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide various paving projects.  The location of the performance of the contract is Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.  Work is to be completed by July 16, 2013.  The contracting activity is the 633rd Contracting Squadron, Langley Air Force Base, Va.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

AmeriQual Group L.L.C., Evansville, Ind., was awarded contract (SPM3S1-12-D-Z107).  The award is a firm fixed price, indefinite quantity contract with a maximum $32,570,265 for Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) packages.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds.  There were three proposals with three responses.  The date of performance completion is Dec. 31, 2012.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa.

NAVY

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo, is being awarded a $22,775,806 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed- price contract (N00019-10-C-0030) to exercise an option for the procurement of 2,384 direct attack moving target weapons including shipping containers.  Work will be performed in St. Charles, Mo., and is expected to be completed in February 2014.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Huntington Ingalls Inc., Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $7,616,543 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-08-C-2110) to purchase previously planned materials in support of the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) construction.  This modification increases the effort under the existing cost-plus-fixed-fee provisioned items order.  Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to complete by September 2015.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, Newport News, Va., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Northrop Grumman Technical Service, Sierra Vista, Ariz., was awarded a $12,453,673 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for the services in support of reset activities.  Work will be performed in Sierra Vista and Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 14, 2013.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-08-C-0025).

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Marion, Ill., was awarded a $10,342,021 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract to procure 25mm PGU-25/U cartridges.  Work will be performed in Marion, with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2013.  Two bids were solicited, with two bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-07-C-0040).

Kongsberg Integrated Tactical Systems, Bellport, N.Y., was awarded a $9,490,997 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement services in support of the M119A2 Howitzer digitization effort.  Work will be performed in Bellport, with an estimated completion date of July 12, 2017.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with six bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15QKN-12-D-0070).

Conco Inc., Louisville, Ky., was awarded an $8,700,000 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract.  The award will provide for the procurement of PA-125 metal ammunition container used for packaging 25mm ammunition.  Work will be performed in Louisville, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 8, 2017.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-12-D-0052).

Raytheon Company IDS, Andover, Mass., was awarded a $7,493,977 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement and delivery of new modern adjunct processor upgrade kits in support of foreign military sales.  Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz.; El Segundo, Calif.; Anaheim, Calif.; Fremont, Calif.; Charlottesville, Va.; and Andover; with an estimated completion date of Nov. 30, 2013.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-10-C-0301).

Espey Manufacturing and Electronics Corp., Saratoga Springs, N.Y., was awarded a $7,389,135 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement of M119 artillery portable universal battery systems.  Work will be performed in Saratoga Springs, with an estimated completion date of June 29, 2017.  Five bids were solicited, with five bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15QKN-12-D-0076).

Design West Technologies, Tustin, Calif., was awarded a $7,353,793 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement of first article testing units and 350 production units of each hardware kit in support of the digitization of the M119A2 Howitzer.  Work will be performed in Tustin, with an estimated completion date of June 29, 2017.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with four bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W15QKN-12-D-0082).

Vista Technical Services L.L.C., Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded a $7,000,000 labor-hour contract.  The award will provide for the information technology application development and maintenance services in support of U.S. Army Sustainment Command.  Work will be performed in Rock Island, Ill., with an estimated completion date of July 8, 2016.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with 11 bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-12-C-5006).

Tri-Technologies Inc., Mount Vernon, N.Y., was awarded a $6,772,851 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement of the extended trail end attachment kits for the M119A2.  Work will be performed in Mount Vernon, with an estimated completion date of June 29, 2017.  Six bids were solicited, with six bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W15QKN-12-D-0083).

Alliant Techsystems Operations L.L.C., Minneapolis, Minn., was awarded a $6,646,861 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract to continue the engineering and manufacturing development phase of the precision guidance kit.  Work will be performed in Minneapolis, with an estimated completion date of June 28, 2013.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15QKN-06-C-0130).
