NO PENALTY FOR FAILURE!
The Department of Veterans Affairs’ looming “Backlog” problem is the same as our governments problem, big time! The reason is, in government including the VA, there is NO PENALTY FOR FALIURE. A few random examples are; 1).
A U.S. Government Printing Office employee printed counterfeit $20 dollar bills on U.S. Government printing presses. The employee was NOT fired. 2).
A VA employee sold Certificates of Eligibility (For Veterans Home Purchase) to non-Veteran civilians. The Employee was NOT fired. 3).
A VA supervisor told the VA adjudication employees to change compensation claims for PTSD, (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) to personality disorders in order to NOT pay compensation to deserving Veterans. The Supervisor was NOT fired! 4).
Two successive VA hospital directors were caught embezzling tens of thousands of VA dollars. One director was allowed to retire and the other was transferred and NOT fired. 5).
VA hospital directors dictate multiple property leases in the form of sharing agreements to private civilian entities and refuse to report the amount of the monetary gain or its destination. The Veterans Affairs claims adjudicators are poorly trained and never corrected. This provides a breeding ground for failure, and the Veteran pays the price in exorbitant wait times and processing delays.

If the big buck cockroaches in Washington quit calling for more hearings, got their heads out of their butts, quit mugging it up for the cameras, and went down to the “trenches”, they would see where and why the monster, “VA BACKLOG” lives. If there is no penalty for failure it would follow that there would be no incentive or impetus to do good, save the one factor that’s non-existent in our government, ……INTEGRITY!
