How are Takfiris, Zionists alike?

“They’re dreadfully fond of beheading people here.”
That’s what Alice said about Wonderland. But she might have been talking about Takfiri-infested Syria.
The Takfiri extremists hate everyone who doesn’t share their primitive misinterpretation of religion. Their attitude toward Sufis, Shias, traditional Muslims, and of course non-Muslims is simple and brutal: “Off with their heads!”
The world was recently shocked by a video of US-backed Takfiri militants beheading two Christians, including a priest, in Homs. The disgusting video – filmed and posted by the Takfiris themselves, who seem proud of their actions – was just the latest in a series of atrocities perpetrated and filmed by Takfiris in Syria.
Another such video shows a Takfiri eating the heart and lungs of a slain Syrian soldier. Russian President Vladimir Putin says he hopes the US-backed Takfiri delegation to future peace talks will not include any cannibals, since that would make it hard for Russia to provide security for its diplomats.
If the Takfiri diplomats got hungry during negotiations, would they start beheading people and devouring their internal organs?
The opposite of a truly religious person is a bombastic, vainglorious egotist. Pharaoh was such an egotist.
Takfiris and Zionists are little Pharaohs. They think their tribe is right, and everyone else is wrong. They think they are so much better than other people that they are justified in killing them…sometimes even eating them.
To be fair, most Zionists and Takfiris are not cannibals. But they are fanatics who commit atrocities in service to the tribal ego.
Unlike Takfiris, Zionists are usually smart enough not to film themselves doing horrible things. But some of their atrocities are as bad as those of the Takfiris.
Ten years ago, British Medical Journal detailed more than 600 cases of Israeli snipers murdering Palestinian children. The children were shot on sidewalks and in schoolyards. Chris Hedges, in his article “Gaza Diary,” described witnessing IDF soldiers hunting down and killing Palestinian children:
“Yesterday at this spot the Israelis shot eight young men, six of whom were under the age of eighteen. One was twelve. This afternoon they kill an eleven-year-old boy, Ali Murad, and seriously wound four more, three of whom are under eighteen. Children have been shot in other conflicts I have covered . . . but I have never before watched soldiers entice children like mice into a trap and murder them for sport.”
Such sport-shooting of children is a de facto official policy of the Israeli government. IDF soldiers proudly wear T-shirts showing a pregnant Palestinian woman with a target drawn on her belly. The T-shirt reads: “One shot two kills.”
Why do Takfiris and Zionists think they are so much better than the rest of us that they are justified in beheading us, cannibalizing us, and shooting our pregnant wives and children for sport?
Jewish Zionists are sure that they are the “chosen people.” Takfiris believe everyone else is a kaffir whose blood is licit. Christian Zionists believe that they are the only people who will be saved when Jesus returns – and the best way to make Jesus return is to start World War III in the Holy Land.
I think they are all criminally insane.
The United States of America is supposed to be a pluralistic, multi-religious society – a nation where people from different faiths and ethnicities live side-by-side in harmony, and where tolerance prevails. So why is the USA the world’s biggest backer of Takfiris and Zionists? Why is the American taxpayer funding Israel to the tune of trillions of dollars? Why are Americans buying the sniper rifles and bullets for IDF soldiers to hunt children for sport? Why are Americans buying arms for Takfiris and sending them into Syria to behead and cannibalize those who think differently than they do?
The US government blames al-Qaeda for 9/11. So why is al-Qaeda, which has come increasingly under the influence of Takfiris, getting so much US assistance in its war against Syria?
Sane people admit that other people, and other ideas, deserve a hearing. Instead of chanting “me-me-me,” they listen to other voices and learn from them.
Traditional Islamic scholars had a wonderful way of handling differences of opinion. They would introduce a topic, list all of the various scholars’ views of that topic, and explain which of those views seemed most persuasive, before ending with the inevitable: “But God knows best.”
Takfiris and Zionists simply shout out their own views. They have no interest in the views of others. Their motto is: “But I know best.” They think that if they shoot you dead or cut off your head, they won’t have to acknowledge your ideas.
Unfortunately for Takfiris and Zionists, ideas are bullet-proof. Cutting off a person’s head does not kill their ideas. Those ideas live on in the minds of others, and in the written and digital record.
No matter how many heads they cut off, no matter how many children they shoot, the Takfiris and Zionists will ultimately fail in their quest to conquer the world and eliminate difference.
In the end, each of them will encounter an Other who knows and judges everything, and whose voice cannot be silenced.
