The number of children, including teens that are being bullied through the internet has increased rapidly as the internet has grown a free world where anyone can say anything they please without suffering any illegal detention from the authorities. Cyber bullying generally involves abuse or harassment through email, text messages or social media. You will know that your child is being bullied when you notice signs of depression or anxiety whenever they use their mobile phone. Sexting
The trending form of communication these days that drives parents insane is when their children sending pornographic images through their text messages. It can be their own nude photo or someone else’s being distributed between 2 people or within the group. This is often the cause of scandals amongst teens and may bring a big impact on the life of the child which then may result to cyber bullying. Explain to your children that such provocative or pornographic images is off limits for their age and that they should restrain themselves from doing such things.
