At least 100 jobs in New Jersey and more than 7,000 more around the country will be available to veterans and their immediate family members through a virtual job fair online June 5.
The Get My Vet a Job organization is sponsoring the event, which is free and will land veterans, transitioning military members and their family members jobs that day. Veterans in New Jersey can apply for jobs anywhere in the U.S. Pre-registration is required at www.jobfairfriday.com for the national fair from 10 a.m to 3 p.m Pacific Daylight Time, or 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
The career fair will be online with hiring managers conducting interviews virtually for many types of jobs. A few of the companies conducting interviews at the virtual career fair will be Accenture, NexRep, UPS, C.R. England and TD Bank.
