Ohio Veteran-Owned Company Apeks Supercritical Grand Opening

WHAT: Federal, state & local officials, including Licking County Government; Ohio Hemp Chamber of Commerce (OHCC) et al.; members of the press invited to Grand Opening ceremony of Apeks Supercritical’s new manufacturing facility in Johnstown, Ohio.

WHO: Apeks Supercritical, Andy Joseph (president)

WHERE: 150 Commerce Boulevard, Johnstown, Ohio, 43031
WHEN: July 17 at 2:00PM
WHY: Apeks Supercritical has invested more than $2M creating a state of the art manufacturing facility to support the extremely fast growth rate achieved over the last 4 years (placed 6th in “Columbus Business First Fast 50,” 2014; placing nationally in the INC 500, 2015) with a sustained growth rate expected to continue.
With the choice to move the business to many other locations, including out of state,  “I chose the more expensive and more time consuming route of building a new facility in Johnstown so we could have an immediate and tangible impact on the community that I live in and where my kids (I have 5) all go to school.” says US Navy Veteran and Apeks Supercritical President Andy Joseph.
Apeks has grown from 1 employee in 2011 to 20 employees in 2015. Apeks Supercritical is proud to have nearly 25 percent of its workforce employed by military veterans and is hiring manufacturing employees and engineers. Apeks proudly offers a 5 percent discount to active duty US military personnel (valid ID required) and US military veterans (DD-214 required). Apeks Supercritical is a founding member of the Ohio Hemp Chamber of Commerce.
