RushCard glitch prevents users from buying food, going to work

The nightmare for thousands of RushCard users continued on Tuesday — the ninth straight day a computer glitch blocked them from accessing their cash.
Many users of the Russell Simmons-created prepaid debit card found themselves broke and unable to pay rent or fuel up their cars to get to work, victims said in desperate posts on social media.
Many said they were close to losing their jobs because they couldn’t get to work.
Some said they were selling laptop computers and other personal items to pay for food.
