Russian Fighter Jets Bomb ISIL Military Sites in Raqqa

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Russian Air Force on Sunday carried out several sorties over the ISIL military camps across Raqqa province and hit them with many bombs and missiles, destroying the militants’ infrastructures.

A number of buildings, including a fire-extinguish facilities, in the ISIL terrorists’ sites came under massive attacks of the Russian warplanes.

Scores of the terrorists were also killed in the Russian airstrikes.

Sources said on Friday that the Syrian Army alongside Hezbollah fighters continued to hunt down ISIL militants in regions close to the strategic Aleppo-Raqqa highway.

On Thursday, a defected commander of ISIL disclosed that deep differences have risen among the Takfiri terrorist group’s leaders in the city of Raqqa.

“The gap has widened among senior ISIL leaders in Raqqa and from time to time clashes erupt in the city,” Abu Al-Walid al-Tunisi who has recently defected from the ISIL terrorist group said.

He reiterated that deep differences have erupted between governor of Raqqa Abu Luqman and the governor in charge of ISIL leader Abu Bakr al-Baqdadi’s affairs in Syria.

Al-Tunisi said the reason for his defection from the terrorist group was inhumane behavior and concern over political confrontations among ISIL leaders.

20-Vehicle Convoy of ISIL Targeted by Army Northwest of Syria’s Aleppo
TEHRAN (FNA)- A long convoy of ISIL’s vehicles with at least 20 military vans was traced and targeted by the Syrian Army on a local road in the Northwestern countryside of Aleppo on Sunday.

The ISIL convoy, loaded with weapons and ammunition, came under the army attack on the axis of Reytan towards Bashkoy, where most of the militants’ vehicles were completely destroyed and their guard were killed or wounded too.

Earlier today, The Syrian Army and popular forces restored security to a key village and its surroundings in the Western countryside of Aleppo after heavy clashes with al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front and killing scores of them.

The Nusra positions near al-Mansoura village came under massive offensive of the pro-government forces, who not only broke through the defense lines of the Nusra militants, but also entered the village and took it back from the terrorist group.

Al-Mansoura village and its nearby areas are now under full control of the Syrian army.

The Nusra militants’ military vehicles and equipment were seriously destroyed in the army attack.

Meantime, the Syrian Armed Forces alongside Hezbollah fighters continued their joint attacks on terrorists’ defense lines in at least four regions in Aleppo’s countryside on Sunday, killing or wounding scores of them.

The Syrian army troops and resistance forces of Hezbollah targeted the positions of the ISIL terrorists near al-Bab city, Maskaneh, al-Afesh and Akouleh across the Eastern and Northeastern countryside of Aleppo city.

The ISIL militants have been pinned down as a resulted of the pro-government forces’ offensives in which the terrorist group has suffered heavy death toll.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army and popular forces restored security to a key village and its surroundings in the Western countryside of Aleppo after heavy clashes with al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front and killing scores of them, battlefield sources announced Sunday.

The Nusra positions near al-Mansoura village came under massive offensive of the pro-government forces, who not only broke through the defense lines of the Nusra militants, but also entered the village and took it back from the terrorist group.

Al-Mansoura village and its nearby areas are now under full control of the Syrian army.

Military sources announced on Saturday that the Syrian Army, popular forces and Hezbollah, with the Russian warplanes’ back up, have seized back nearly 410 square kilometers of land in the Northern province of Aleppo.

The Syrian army, National Defense Forces (NDF), the Lebanese Hezbollah and other pro-government fighters regained almost 410 square kilometers of Aleppo’s territories since the start of their massive operations early in October, the military sources said.

The same sources said also on Sunday, the Syrian Army and Hezbollah fighters significantly advanced against the militant groups in Southwestern Aleppo province and captured a new area along the strategic Aleppo-Damascus highway, The pro-government forces pushed back the militant groups from the Southwestern part of Aleppo near highway to Damascus and won back ICARAD area just opposite side to Kusaybiyah town after fierce clashes with the terrorists, that ended in the full recapture of the area and killing or wounding of many of them, the sources said.

The sources further added that the Syria army and Hezbollah were advancing towards al-Zerba town.

Reports said on Friday that he sources said that the Syrian Army’s 4th Mechanized Division, the Syrian Armed Forces, Hezbollah, and their Iraqi allies have taken control of 341 square kilometers of territory in Southern Aleppo.

As a result of their success in Southern Aleppo, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies have paved the way for their reentry into the Idlib province, the province that they were forced to withdraw from over the summer.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army alongside Hezbollah fighters have intensified their attacks on militants’ positions and military sites in the Northern part of Aleppo, particularly the al-Nusra Front’s missile-lunching site, field sources announced Sunday.

The pro-government forces launched a fresh round of offensives against the concentration centers of al-Nusra Front and Jeish al-Mujaheddin terrorist groups in al-Malaah farms in the Northern countryside of Aleppo, the sources said.

The Syrian army and its allies are specifically targeting Nusra missile site that is the primary source of rocket-missile attacks on the Northern suburbs of al-Aziziyeh, al-Ashrafiyeh, Suleimaniyeh and al-Khalidiyeh.

Syrian Refugees Returning Home in Southern Aleppo after Militants’ Recent Defeats
TEHRAN (FNA)- First groups of Syrian refugees are returning to the newly-liberated areas in the Southern, Southeastern and Southwestern parts of Aleppo after the pro-government forces pushed back militant groups from vast territories in the Northern province, sources said Saturday.

According to Syrian sources, hundreds of Syrian people who left Aleppo after ISIL and other militant groups raided and occupied their towns and villages are now returning home.

Military sources announced earlier today that the Syrian Army, popular forces and Hezbollah, with the Russian warplanes’ back up, have seized back nearly 410 square kilometers of land in the Northern province of Aleppo.

Over 35 Militants Killed in Army, Hezbollah Operation near Syria’s Sheikh Meskeen
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army, National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah fighters stormed militants’ strongholds in the Northern part of Dara’a, and killed at least 37 terrorists, an army source said on Sunday.

The source told FNA that the pro-government forces carried out successfully the first phase of their large-scale operation in Southern Syria, and seized full control over the Northern part of Sheikh Meskeen.

At least 37 terrorists were killed and many more wounded in the clashes, he added.

The source further added that the Syrian army and its allies are now readying to carry out a new phase of their large-scale operation along Dara’a-Damascus highway.

 

 

The pro-government forces also advanced towards al-Qasr al-Ahmar and Sheikh Meskeen’s prison.

Fierce clashes between the Syrian forces and the militant groups have been underway in Sheikh Meskeen since this morning and military strategists believe that time is ripe for the massive mop-up operation by the government forces to cleanse this important town from militants. The Syrian Army and the NDF started advancing on militant positions in the Northern countryside of Dara’a this morning in a move to take control of Sheikh Meskeen town.

The government forces have also made another push to capture the strategic town through a second front, which ended in their full control over the Northern farms of Sheikh Meskeen and remaining parts of the Water Resources Facility.

 Syrian Army Hits Militant Strongholds Heavily North of Dara’a

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army and National Defense Forces (NDF) Sunday carried out a joint operation against the terrorist groups in the Northern territories of Dara’a province and destroyed their military grid.

The militant groups’ defense lines in al-Ghizlan Farm and al-Ghariya al-Sharqiya came under offensive of the Syrian army and the NDF fighters, which ended in the killing and wounding of tens of the terrorists and massive destruction of their military equipment.

 

 

On Saturday, the Syrian army attacked the Takfiri terrorists’ positions in the province of Dara’a, and destroyed the militants’ arms manufacturing factory in Dara’a al-Balad.

The army units razed down the terrorists’ weapons factory near al-Hussein Mosque in Dara’a al-Balad.

The Syrian troops also defused a car loaded with explosives in al-Sad road in Dara’a al-Balad.

Syrian Air Raids Hit ISIL Targets in Homs
TEHRAN (FNA)- Tens of the ISIL Takfiri militants were reportedly killed in Syrian Airstrikes in Homs province.

Syrian fighter jets targeted ISIL positions in the Central Province of Homs, leaving dozens of terrorists dead, informed sources said Sunday.

Earlier reports said the Russian helicopters pounded ISIL positions near the city of Palmyra in Homs province, leaving scores of the Takfiris terrorists dead.

 

 

Sources said on Sunday that the Russian helicopters targeted ISIL positions West of the city of ‎Palmyra in Homs, and killed tens of Takfiri terrorists.

On Saturday, the Syrian government forces won back a strategic area near the ancient city of Palmyra in Homs province.

The Syrian army troops took full control over Talet Al-Biyarat which overlooks Palmyra in Homs province.

At Least 18 Terrorists Killed in Idlib
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army troops killed at least 18 terrorists in special operations in Abu al-Duhour village in Idlib province.

Field sources said the army conducted a special operation against terrorists’ positions in Abu al-Duhour village, Southeast of Idlib city, on Saturday.

At least 18 terrorists were killed and three vehicles loaded weapons and munitions were also destroyed in the operation.

 

 

Mohammad Murad Agha from Uzbekistan was identified among the dead terrorists.

Reports said on Saturday that the Syrian Army alongside the National Defense Forces (NDF) won back more strategic territories at Lattakia-Idlib border, and now are coordinating for the start of a joint operation to capture al-Sirmaniyah in Idlib province.

The Syrian soldiers and NDF fighter pushed back the militant groups from part of al-Ghaab plains near border of Lattakia and Idlib province and took full control over al-Karf mountains after killing or wounding scores of the terrorists.

The pro-government forces are now at a good position to storm the militants’ defense lines near al-Sirmaniyah and recapture the town.

Reports said on Friday that Saraqb area in the Northwestern province of Idlib was the scene of heavy clashes between the Syrian Forces and the militants, in which dozens of the terrorists were killed or wounded.

The sources said that the Syrian Army alongside the NDF fighters launched their joint operation against the militant groups in Saraqb area, killed tens of them and destroyed their military equipment.
