When you shop at a car lot where “nobody is turned down,” you can expect to pay outlandish car loan rates. Some consumers with less-than-perfect credit might qualify for better rates than they realize.

Someone who is desperate for a deal on a used car might love to hear an auto dealer on TV hawking a promise like “We don’t even look at your credit score.”
But comedian John Oliver takes the line apart in a bit about the shaky nature of the subprime auto lending universe, including “Buy Here, Pay Here” lots.
