When video was released showing the two top Al Qaeda spokesmen, taking the place of Osama bin Laden, were American born Jews, the news was quickly removed from the press. BinLaden’s messages had been much less threatening and confrontational, always condemning what he called “Zionists” for actions against the Christians and Arabs of Palestine and the American government for its support of Israel but never threatened the people of Israel or the US with violence or terrorism. This is not true of the young Jews who have joined Al Qaeda:
With the announcement by Leon Panetta that no more than 100 Al Qaeda supporter are currently in South Asia, a number many military leaders place as low as 6, and Al Qaeda groups in other countries communicating only through websites tied to Jewish organizations, some based in the United States, this paradigm shift from Arab Islamic born terrorists to Jewish born converts to Islam is surprising, especially as the converts are, by far, the most threatening and violent of any terrorists the United States has yet faced.
Intelligence sources indicate that this movement may involve more than a few regions and more than one or two individuals. Reports have been received that the many of the Communist led PKK terrorists, currently attacking Turkey from safe havens along the Iraqi border have been tied to Israel since the 1960s and a number of their members are still actively following the Judean practices though part of Islamic terrorist groups actively at war against a country, until recently, closely allied to Israel, one of Israel’s several Islamic allies.
Chechen fighters active, not only against Russia but long inside Pakistan and Afghanistan, are said to be supported by Israel but many may be themselves Jews by birth, converts to Islam. These represent the groups most active against the United States and NATO activities to stabilize Afghanistan. Many of these units of “foreign fighters,” not only aren’t entirely Muslim but are known to include significant numbers of Kashmiri Hindus, involved in a 60 year dispute with Pakistan. These groups cross between Afghanistan and Pakistan continually, rumored to receive logistical and financial support from non-regional intelligence services who have become involved in the massive heroin trade as a way of rewarding operatives and funding “rogue” covert operations such as those described recently by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren when speaking of Israeli’s unfortunate intelligence attack on the United States or the “accidental” killing or wounding of 208 American military personnel during the Six Day War.
The most recent evidence of this generation of “Dazed and Confused” Jewish youth may be the Al Qaeda operations in Yemen in support of the Nigerian born “Crotch Bomber” attack in Detroit. Intelligence units in Yemen seized laptop computers from the Al Qaeda operatives who trained and supplied Abdul Mohammad. The computers showed a long trail of emails to Israel. Though there is a strong desire to blame the Mossad for this operation, these emails are as likely to have been simple family communication with relatives in Israel and not direction from Mossad terrorist leaders planning “false flag” attacks.
Similarly, when the terrorist Abdul Mohammad was aided through airports in Ghana, Nigeria and the Netherlands without a passport or visa, eventually landing in Detroit, despite testimony of “Indian looking” individuals assisting with customs and even filming the attack on the plane, airport security personnel are, for the most part, either Israel or employees of Israeli companies. Were some of these part of this rebellious group of “rogues” that Ambassador Oren has been warning the world about, young Jews choosing violence to side against their own country and its allies?
With Israeli companies controlling airport and port security and most of the worlds highest traffic facilities, evidence of this movement of Jewish youth toward the most extreme forms of Islam may, in the end, represent the source of our next major terrorist attack. As to the reasons, why these children of good families, well educated, and otherwise subjected to none of the factors normally attributed to the growth of extremist movements, would become terrorists, we have been unable to discover.
With thousands of Israelis working in high security positions in as many as 80 nations around the world, this new threat, potentially opening ports to weapons of mass destruction or airports and even nuclear facilities to terrorist attacks by Al Qaeda suicide bombers, is a frightening new element in war against the ever growing number of global terrorist threats.
