Fukushima destroyed nuclear station

The destroyed reactors at Fukushima

have been releasing radiation for weeks. According to model calculations, the stricken nuclear plant could already have released one-tenth of the amount of radiation unleashed in the Chernobyl disaster. How serious a risk does the disaster pose to humans?

the nuclear industry, worldwide is being threatened by the bad press stemming from the events unfolding at the Fukushima power plant in Japan.
The nuclear energy industry is very powerful and influential. Consequently, there has been a clampdown in the mainstream media about the threat being posed to the health of the people not only in Japan but all over the world by the radiation that is being released by destroyed plant.
According to experts, your best bet for good information will likely come from environmental activist groups, such as Greenpeace and from European monitoring sources in countries that do NOT rely almost exclusively on nuclear energy for their electrification.
The following video paints a stark and grim portrait of the situation on the ground for the inhabitants of Northern Japan. After taking several readings in the area at a 40km (25 mile) distance from the facility it is determined that, “People living here would receive a maximum annual dose in 3-4 days, which is unacceptable. People living here should be evacuated.”

Here is an animation produced by the Norwegian Institute for Air Research (NILU) by officials within the Department of Atmospheric and Climate Research (ATMOS), showing the *potential* global radiation release from the stricken plant on a global scale, particularly the West Coast of the US, as of April 6.

The radioactive toxins that are now oozing into the soil and water-table or flowing into Japan’s coastal waters or lofting skyward into the jet-stream where they will spread across continents, will continue to wreak havoc long after this generation has passed its mortal coil

Ashraf Ezzat is an Egyptian born in Cairo and based in Alexandria. He graduated from the faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University. Keen not to be entirely consumed by the medical profession, Dr. Ezzat invests a lot of his time in research and writing. History of the ancient Near East and of Ancient Egypt has long been an area of special interest to him. In his writings, he approaches ancient history not as some tales from the remote times but as a causative factor in our existing life; and to him, it's as relevant and vibrant as the current moment. In his research and writings, Dr. Ezzat is always on a quest trying to find out why the ancient wisdom had been obstructed and ancient spirituality diminished whereas the Judeo-Christian teachings and faith took hold and prospered. Dr. Ezzat has written extensively in Arabic tackling many issues and topics in the field of Egyptology and comparative religion. He is the author of Egypt knew no Pharaohs nor Israelites. He writes regularly at many well-known online websites such as Dissident Voice and What Really Happened. Dr. Ezzat is also an independent filmmaker. His debut film was back in 2011 The Annals of Egypt Revolution and in 2012 he made Tale of Osiris a short animation for children. In 2013 his short The Pyramids: story of creation was screened at many international film festivals in Europe. And he is working now on his first documentary "Egypt knew no Pharaohs nor Israelites".
