US: Palestinian Children’s Art Exhibit Canceled Under Pressure from Local Jewish Groups

The collection of children’s art is in the US and is available for groups to bring to their cities.

 

Berkeley, CA’s Middle East Children’s Alliance broke the news that an exhibit of children’s art from Gaza, brought back to the States by Susan Johnson, was scheduled to go public on Sept. 24 at the Oakland Museum of Children’s Art. . . .”the exhibit has been canceled. . . .the museum’s board folded” under pressure organized by Jewish groups in the Bay area, California.

This short video piece showcases artwork made by children in Gaza. Many of the drawings were created by participants of the Let the Children Play and Heal project run by Afaq Jadeeda (New Horizons) Center with funding from MECA.
