Adding a new chapter to the history of racist sports teams names, the Israeli Knesset voted Thursday to call its national soccer team “The Fighting Goys.” The vote honored the memory of the late Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, who became the most popular rabbi in Israeli history by stating that non-Jews were created to be the slaves of the Jews, and calling for the genocidal annihilation of Arabs.
Rabbi Yosef’s heir apparent, the 93-year-old Rabbi Simon Bar Sinister, explained: “The Americans name sports teams after nasty animals, like bears and lions and tigers, or the victims of their genocide, like Indians and Redskins. Since we consider the goyim (non-Jews) to be at or below the level of animals, and are looking forward to their extermination, ‘The Fighting Goys’ is a perfect name for our national soccer team.”
The Knesset also voted to have several of Rabbi Yosef’s sayings engraved on Israel’s national stadium. Those sayings include:
“Goyim have no place in the world – only to serve the People of Israel.”
“Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat.”
“With gentiles, it will be like any person – they need to die, but [God] will give them longevity. Why? Imagine that one’s donkey would die, they’d lose their money. This is his servant… That’s why he gets a long life, to work well for this Jew.”
“It is forbidden to be merciful to them [Arabs]. You must send missiles to them and annihilate them. They are evil and damnable.”
“The Lord shall return the Arabs’ deeds on their own heads, waste their seed and exterminate them, devastate them and vanish them from this world.”
The Israeli public – which responded to Rabbi Yosef’s calls for genocide by showering him with waves of adulation – turned out for the Rabbi’s funeral this week in unprecedented numbers. According to the Times of Israel:
“Rabbi Ovadia Yosef buried in largest funeral in Israeli history 800,000 attend last procession for revered leader of Sephardi Jewry; 300 require medical treatment — but no serious injuries… and one birth; worried police chief had feared disaster as crowds swelled; public figures send condolences, recall a giant of Jewish thought…Ovadia was laid to rest Monday night in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sanhedria, with some 800,000 mourners converging from all over the country to attend what became the largest funeral in Israeli history…Read The Times of Israel’s coverage of an unprecedentedly vast public outpouring of respect and grief.”
Rabbi Yossef’s uncompromising brand of genocidal racism drew respect even from his enemies. Responding to news of Yossef’s death, Rudolf Schitzler, President of the World Congress of Neo-Nazis, said: “Rabbi Yossef was a legend – a true giant of genocidal racism. I just re-read Mein Kampf for the twenty-eighth time, and I can tell you that mein fuhrer never said or wrote anything half as genocidally racist as the sayings of Rabbi Yossef. The good Rabbi could have taught dear old Adolf a thing or two.” Schnitzler added that he envies Israel, which, unlike Nazi Germany, has convinced the world to accept and even pay for its genocidal racism and endless wars of aggression in search of lebensraum.
Rabbi Yossef’s admirers included US Ambassador to Israel and proud dual citizen Dan Shapiro, who made the following statement:
“Rav Ovadia Yosef was a spiritual leader to hundreds of thousands, if not more, a great learner [of Torah] and a wise and learned man, a father to an impressive family and an important contributor to the society and politics of the state of Israel. Today in Jerusalem and all across Israel, his supporters and followers mourn him. To them, and first and foremost to his beloved family, I send my condolences. May his memory be blessed.”
The highlight of Rabbi Yosef’s funeral, according to many participants, occurred when a visiting US Congressional delegation called for the entire US Treasury to be turned over to Israel, then lined up in front of the casket to kiss the dead rabbi’s ass.
