[ Editor’s Note: The Russians are tired of being being asked to “assist” the US in its feigned PR scam to resolve turmoil in the Mideast. You have to be in a coma not to see the US and the West are playing both sides against the middle, all over the landscape.
This includes the totally bogus threat charges against Moscow, which seem to be the new replacement for the now-exposed Iranian nuclear threat hoax, something we deemed an attack on the United States public by treasonous actors in and out of government.
The only possible beneficiaries of such a perverse strategy are the political elites and their international crime buddies, described so clearly by Gordon Duff at the Syrian Counter-Terrorism conference on the first of December — his talk became the keynote address of the conference.
Colonel Jim Hanke, (ret), former Special Forces, military attache to Israel, and G-2 of Third Army, followed with his bomb that about 3000 of ISIL’s best cadres were trained in Jordan by a “shadowy defense contracting group”, under the guise that they would be Free Syrian Army people, but who very quickly went over to ISIL.
There has been no public scandal on the failure of the vetting process. We knew early on, as “Big Army” was concerned about who really had command and control of some of these “counterterrorism” training operations, when the funding and paper trail always came to an end at a certain point, and that seems to be just fine with the top command.
Bottom line… they suspect that holdovers from the Bush regime were able to steer taxpayer funding into the training of terrorists using outside contractors where oversight is little to non-existent. It gave chain-of-command people legal cover to claim such operations were not going on, but with the unsaid caveat of “that we are personally aware of”.
That is how the shadow government scam is being run now. This decade long running situation in itself is now viewed as a serious security threat, but again, our elected representatives seem totally unconcerned… imagine that.
Obama and the Joint Chiefs have managed a tough, uphill fight in cleaning out the officer corp of riffraff and corruption in the Navy and Air Force nuclear command, where they have blunted the two-decade infiltration of the Christian Jihadis via the Air Force Academy.
But we are told that there exists a similar threat regarding who is in charge of training and moving all of these Western-backed terrorists around, where they travel like they have diplomatic passports or something. When is the last time you heard of a group of them being snagged en route somewhere? You just can’t make this stuff up!… Jim W. Dean ]

Damascus has expressed readiness to attend the peace talks that Moscow has offered to host between the Syrian government and opposition next month, a report says.
According to Syria’s official news agency, SANA, an unnamed Syrian Foreign Ministry official said on Saturday that participation in the meeting will be aimed at “fulfilling Syrians’ aspirations to reach a way out of the crisis.”
On Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Alexander Lukashevich, said peace talks between the Syrian government and the opposition are set to take place in Moscow sometime after January 20.
The negotiations would see Russian mediation between representatives from the Syrian government, domestic opposition, as well as foreign-based opposition.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has also voiced support for Russia’s efforts to broker peace in his country.
The last round of the talks between a Syrian government delegation and the opposition were mediated by the United Nations (UN) in the Swiss city of Geneva in February. The talks came to an end without any tangible results.
Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 200,000 people, according to the UN.
Takfiri ISIL militants have seized large swathes of land in Syria and Iraq, terrorizing and killing people of all communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, and Christians, in the areas they are controlling.

USA Central Command on Monday announced a decision to launch airstrikes on the Syrian targets of the IS, Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) or IS of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
In 3-days, several dozen militants have been killed, with activists claiming that there are victims among the civilian population, including four children.
US military experts characterize civilian deaths as “collateral damage.
The US involvement in the crisis costs taxpayers $312,000 per hour, and the expenditure rate is expected to grow even more if Americans support more massive airstrikes.
As part of the strikes on Tuesday, the US fired 47 Tomahawk cruise missiles, worth around $1.59 million each. The missiles were launched from USS Arleigh Burke and USS Philippine Sea operating in the Red Sea and North Arabian Gulf.
