Striking the Root of Israel’s Warmongering

With Tuesday’s signing of the nuclear agreement between the US, England, France, Germany, Russia and China with Iran we seem to have moved away from another religious war for Israel’s benefit and for the benefit of US politicians from both parties who serve Israel and its powerful lobby.

However, the warmongers are working overtime to torpedo the agreement and to bring about another US war for Israel’s benefit, just as was done when the US launched the religious war for the benefit of the Jewish state of Israel against Iraq. This time the target is Iran.

Just yesterday Israel’s warmonger in chief, Netanyahu, threatened that the signing of the agreement by the six nations was “not the end of the story.”

Netanyahu is a big believer in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament and believes the Hebrew/Jewish lies it contains such as God chose the Hebrews/Jews “above all people that are upon the face of the earth” (Deuteronomy 7:6) and that God gave a gift of real estate to the ancient Hebrews/Jews which is the land of Israel with all of Jerusalem as its capital. Netanyahu seems ignorant of history when he claims such things as the Jews have been building Jerusalem for 3,000 years, since the Romans under the leadership of General Titus captured Jerusalem, destroyed the Jewish temple and drove the Jews from the land on August 10, 70 CE.

This ignorance based belief in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament is a major root reason for the religious violence infecting our world today. It is the driving force not only for Israel, but for the warmongering neoconservative movement which works to make the world based on the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament and which was instrumental in creating the US war against Iraq and is currently pushing to destroy the nuclear agreement with Iran and to start a US war against Iran for Israel’s benefit.

The Israel lobby is moving into high gear to put pressure on the minions in the US Congress to scuttle the agreement and to move the US and the world closer to another war. They are not happy with the increase in US tax dollars Obama is giving them and are remaining fixed on their goal of destroying the agreement and getting a US war against Iran started.

The media in the US is also a key tool of the Israel lobby in its warmongering efforts. This is evident when you remind yourself of how the media and “journalists” reacted when the government told them of Iraq’s nuclear, chemical and biological threat to the world – they bought it hook, line and sinker and spewed it out to their viewers and listeners. One of the reasons the Israel lobby has such an easy time with US politicians from both parties is the Bible the ancient Hebrews/Jews wrote. Too many politicians from both sides of the aisle believe it is the Word of God. An example of this problem is Hillary Clinton who said, “I think the whole Bible is real.”  Since the Bible promotes Jewish superiority and Israel over all, this makes easy pickings for the Israel lobby.

If US politicians embraced the Deism of the American founder Thomas Paine, we would not be in the subservient position we currently are to the Jewish state of Israel. Thomas Paine wrote in The Age of Reason:

It is not the antiquity of a tale that is any evidence of its truth; on the contrary, it is a symptom of its being fabulous; for the more ancient any history pretends to be, the more it has the resemblance of a fable. The origin of every nation is buried in fabulous tradition, and that of the Jews is as much to be suspected as any other. To charge the commission of acts upon the Almighty, which, in their own nature, and by every rule of moral justice, are crimes, as all assassination is, and more especially the assassination of infants, is matter of serious concern. The Bible tells us, that those assassinations were done by the express command of God.

To believe, therefore, the Bible to be true, we must unbelieve all our belief in the moral justice of God; for wherein could crying or smiling infants offend? And to read the Bible without horror, we must undo everything that is tender, sympathizing, and benevolent in the heart of man. Speaking for myself, if I had no other evidence that the Bible is fabulous than the sacrifice I must make to believe it to be true, that alone would be sufficient to determine my choice.

Deism, which is based on our innate God-given reason and Nature, can do much to help us free ourselves of all sorts of damaging nonsense and foolishness on a personal level and on a national level. And that includes breaking free of being Israel’s servant and fighting its wars.
