1. The Palestinian Authority has submitted a lawsuit against Israel with the International Criminal Court.

The PA’s lawsuit attributes criminal responsibility to Israel for the savage killing of a Palestinian baby in the Occupied Palestine. 18-month-old baby Ali Dawabsha was burned to death in the Israeli terror attack. The settlers had thrown a fire bomb into his parents’ bedroom when they were asleep. Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza held protests to honor baby Dawabsha. One teenager was also shot in the protests by Israeli forces and the boy later died from his wounds. Meanwhile, Israel says it will keep building the illegal settlements in the occupied lands. The UN has reported over 120 Israeli settler terror attacks on Palestinians in 2015.

2. The US warns Syria against resisting militants operating within Syria.

For Syria, the US claims that its strategy is for the militants to destroy ISIL, not the government of Bashar al-Assad. Analysts say the US and its allies are using ISIL as an excuse to overthrow Assad. Obama has authorized airstrikes to defend militants if Syria attacks them. The US has announced it will train 3,000 more militants in Syria by the end of 2015. Analysts also warn that the US support and training of more militants in Syria will only benefit ISIL and is simply a repetition of what created ISIL and other Takfiri groups in the first place. Russia says the US strikes on Syria would be an illegal act of aggression and China says that although the world must fight terror, national sovereignty must be respected.
