How do most Americans react to criticism of Israel? Those who know little about the history avoid discussion.

A Letter from a USS LIBERTY survivor dated 10 June 1967 and a recollection from member of Rescue, Damage Control and Repair Team that boarded the USS Liberty on the early morning hours of June 9, 1967.

The bumper sticker reads, “I love my country…but I think we should start seeing other people” and recent events lead me to believe it could actually be happening in regards to the “special relationship” between US and Israel.

The attack on the USS Liberty remains "the only incident of damage to a major US ship since the sinking of the USS MAINE in Havana Harbour in 1898, prior to the Spanish-American War, that has not been investigated by the US Congress."

To support the troops we must march and demand justice: an open congressional hearing that includes any LIBERTY survivor who wants to tell what they saw that day in infamy, 44 years ago.
