I think if the likes of Mohamed Hassanaein Haikal had the courage to speak up then as they speak now, perhaps there will be no need for an Arab Spring or a New Skyes Picot.

One would think that out of all the countries and people, albeit “invented” in the Middle East, the Palestinians would be leading the way to a full Arab Spring, Fall, Summer and Winter until the armed and colonial Jewish Occupation comes to an end. Surprisingly, this has not been the case.

We are angry at a political system that is so corrupted by money, greed, bad faith, contempt for the people and citizens with special breed of political and media consultants who sell us scruples idiots and demagogues as choices.

More than any other time in the history of Palestine, there is an urgent and critical need for regime change.

The Arab Spring in Egypt, in Tunisia, in Yemen, in Syria certainly in Libya must be very disappointing to those American and Israeli Zionist NeoCons who took charge of the post September 11th defining Islam and Arabs as born terrorists and defining Islam as the faith of terror.

At a time when Americans and America are facing the worst economic and financial crises ever in its history, the US Congress decided to move venue to Israel to address the urgent needs of Israelis and Israel.

Perhaps it will do good for Salam Fayyad to pick up the phone, better yet to talk the short walk to the office of the Israeli Military Governor for Judea and Samaria (the Boss) and ask for the $300 millions needed by the PA.

The American or for that matter the Arab “left” must not be fooled by killers and murderers the likes of Mouamar Gaddafi and Bashar Assad, just like they were fooled by the likes of Saddam Hussein before.

As was expected President Barack Obama’s speech this weekend at AIPAC was an unconditional surrender to AIPAC, to Bibi Netanyahu and Israel. He gave up the US presidency in favor of his candidacy for re-election.

One has to ask and wonder why the sudden escalation of violence between Israel and Gaza and why Jerusalem after calms and quite is witnessing its first “terrorist” acts in many years?
