Gaddafi, as with Saddam and the other police state monsters, is known for rounding up citizens, threat of beatings and arrests, threats of firings or worse, forcing them to take part in public demonstrations. This is a violation of human rights, a crime. It is a crime when Gaddafi does it and it is also a crime when others, the "guests" of Gaddafi, betray the people of Libya and take part in supporting these human rights abuses.

MI5 has warned that Libyan expats are plotting terrorist attacks in Britain in revenge for bombing raids on Colonel Gaddafi’s regime. The threat was exposed after intelligence officers monitored hundreds of conversations between Libyans in the UK who have ‘maintained connections with Tripoli’.

Since Saturday night, the United States, France, and Britain have been bombing Libya with cruise missiles, B-2 stealth bombers, F-16 and F-15 fighter jets, and Harrier attack jets. There is no reliable estimate of the number of civilians killed. The U.S. has taken the lead in the punishing bombing campaign to carry out United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973.

Muammar Gaddafi went on radio few days ago,threatening no mercy for the pro-democracy residence of Benghazi . In the last few days, Muammar and his son Seif El-Islam feel energized again after making some gains on the grounds during the last 10 days. Thanks to President Sarkozy and France, the UN Security Council passed a resolution calling for a “No Fly Zone” and taking a measures to protect the lives of civilians in Libya. Though the Obama Administration was too keen on the no fly zone, for reasons that became clear it took a back seat, with a wait and see attitude, until Gaddafi was able to win the battle against his own people with ready and final assault on the city of Benghazi. France persistence finally paid off, finally the Obama Administration was allowed to vote on the USSC resolution 1973. It is too late for all those killed and murdered by Gaddafi, and the hope that his days as leader of Libya are numbered.

Libya with its huge reserve and flow of vital oil to Europe & the United States could not and should not be left alone in the hands of some maniac and political outcast like Gaddafi to be drifted into some civil war that only god knows when it will come to an end.
